The Opportunity

As a critical member of the Talent Management team, you will help create learning and talent development solutions to enable people at Pathways Canada to do their best work and bring strategic priorities to life.

As the successful candidate, you bring strong consulting skills, strong learning facilitation and evaluation expertise, above average understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) best practices, effective collaboration and passion for people development as an enabler of the organization’s success.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will play a key role in learning and enablement:

  • Conduct robust needs analyses, create evaluations and monitor measurement of learning outcomes to align to business impact
  • Design and deliver learning programs for employees and people managers
  • Activate learning initiatives to support talent and learning strategy of the organization
  • Provide guidance to internal departments on training matters and development plans i.e. act as learning and performance consultant to internal teams
  • Facilitate the implementation of new processes, policies, and tools i.e. support change adoption across the organization.
  • Integrate experiential learning and/or universal design for learning guidelines into all learning experiences

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you will bring a balance of expertise in handling learning, people and change:

  • Post-secondary education focused on learning, human resources, curriculum design and development OR relevant experience in adult learning or human resources/talent management
  • 3+ years’ experience working in adult learning, people development, creation of training materials, career development, learning and meeting facilitation, relationship management (internal and external), coaching
  • Ability to embed equity, diversity & inclusion (EDI) into all learning and talent management initiatives; awareness of how to design inclusive experiences for others in virtual and in-person contexts
  • Sound understanding of EDI issues and best practices along with attitude of continuous learning; Knowledge of Global Diversity Equity and Inclusion Benchmarks is an
  • Leadership skills, persuasive communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal communication skills with strong collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and build relationships across the organization
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to set priorities and effectively meet milestones
  • Focused on serving the needs of key stakeholders to ensure their success
  • Flexible team player and confident in asking question and being engaged to find positive solutions
  • Comfortable with planning objectives, assessing needs, and evaluating outcomes, analyzing and synthesizing data, presenting data to different audiences
  • Bilingual verbal and written communication (English/French) is an asset
  • Understanding of change management principles and processes would be an asset
  • Understanding of vendor management would be an asset
