Pathways to Education Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Vivien Glencross as Chief Marketing and Development Officer (CMDO), effective October 26, 2026.
Vivien brings more than 20 years of fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong track record of growing revenue and building lasting partnerships in support of mission-driven organizations.
Vivien joins Pathways from Jack.org, where she has served as Vice President of Development since 2023, leading the organization’s fundraising strategy in support of its youth mental health mission. Previously, she spent more than five years at UNICEF Canada and nearly a decade in progressively senior roles with Heart & Stroke, after beginning her fundraising career at SickKids Foundation. Vivien also serves on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Humane Society.
Across her career, Vivien has built successful fundraising programs and brings extensive expertise developing corporate and philanthropic partnerships, complemented by a strong understanding of how marketing strengthens donor engagement. In her new role, she will lead Pathways’ now integrated Marketing and Development portfolio, aligning brand and fundraising to strengthen support for Pathways’ mission.
Vivien’s appointment comes at an important point in Pathways’ evolution as the organization marks its 25th year of impact for students living in low-income communities across Canada. Her arrival also completes a renewal of Pathways’ executive leadership team, positioning the organization for its next chapter of continued growth as it works to break the cycle of poverty through education.
