Donate cryptocurrency
Pathways has been accepting donations of various cryptocurrencies since 2013, and in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) we will issue a tax receipt for all donations $20 CAD and over.
Pathways’ practice is to sell any donation of cryptocurrency immediately upon receipt to generate funds in support of the program. The tax receipt will be issued for the fair market value of the donated cryptocurrency at the date of transfer.
For Pathways to issue a tax receipt, we require your full name, mailing address, and a digital signature that demonstrate you have ownership of the funds you are donating. Please use your hardware wallet (e.g. Trezor, Ledger, Keepkey) to send a signed message that includes your full name and physical mailing address to [email protected]. Unsure how to do this?
