Over the past year, we welcomed 47 Pathways alumni to our Alumni Ambassador Program—a record-breaking number! The Alumni Ambassador Program is an opportunity for Pathways alumni across the country to ensure meaningful and impactful engagement with alumni in their local communities.
Alumni Ambassadors actively lead and participate in events, promote opportunities within the alumni network, and share their Pathways experiences locally and nationally. They also connect with program locations, Pathways alumni, and Pathways Canada to ensure alumni voices are incorporated into the program for Pathways students.
As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, we are proud to recognize the contributions of dedicated Alumni Ambassadors from across the country. Here’s why some of them choose to give back to Pathways:

Pathways Verdun
“I joined the Alumni Ambassador Program to give back to an organization that truly made a difference in my life. During high school, Pathways supported me in improving my study habits and helped me build effective learning strategies that I still use today. But it wasn’t just about academics—I also made amazing memories through the program, including my very first travel experiences. Being part of this community gave me so much, and now, as an ambassador, I’m proud to support and inspire others on their own journeys.”
Alba
Pathways Regent Park
“Being an alumni ambassador is a great opportunity for me to connect with other Pathways alumni. I also get the opportunity to learn valuable skills like public speaking and networking, which will help me in my career.”
Muhammad
Pathways Kitchener
“I joined because I wanted to give back to the program that played such a big role in my high school journey. Pathways offers so many valuable resources, and being part of the Alumni Ambassador program is an exciting way to stay connected. I’ve heard great things about the alumni ambassador events, and I’m looking forward to having fun, planning activities, and helping other students the way I was supported.”
Andrea
Pathways Lawrence Heights
“Without Pathways, I probably would’ve never graduated high school. So, I want to be there and support future students and alumni in my community. And I want them to know that their happiness is important—Pathways will support them in pursuing their passions, whether that’s athletics, arts, hospitality, or anything else they’re interested in.”

We are grateful to the ambassadors and alumni across Canada for continuing to inspire and empower the next generation of Pathways students.
From all of us at Pathways, happy National Volunteer Week!
